More Money, More Money!!!
Lazy Iguana has an excellent post up on our declining values. He makes some great points about the moral crisis in the United States, check it out!
And Saur has posted about the diamond trade. Please keep her post in mind as you shop this holiday season.

Disagree with lazy iguana, I know many single income families that live within their means who teach good values and raise good moral children.
I also know many good people who make good money and use it helping others. Not all people who make good money drive a BMW, have a boat or other expensive toys. Even rich people can live beyond their means.
I also know many people who own their own businesses who are not EVIL....All corporations and not bad, but those are the ones you hear about by our media.

The weekend was great, thanks for the wishes. My grandparents were graceful and sweet. I think they've given up on the WASPy fight in their old age.

Thanks for the plug, hon! Iguana's post is worth the read. I got my back up at first (being Republican and all) but when I read it through carefully he's dead right, I'm sad to say. I would like to think that Capitalism is the right way (I still think it's better than others) but when you have man's basic greed to contend with, there IS no easy solution. The only way ethics can be taught is by insisting on it, and we simply don't!
BTW, Zen & Now tried to post you a quick note that ended up in Polanco's blog. I told her to check our your blog and bookmark it.
